LightPilot is a low cost, wireless hand-held system that will give you GPS-level accuracy of
about 2.5m.  It is ideal if you just want positioning data - for instance in a wide fairway
with no tight turns.  LightPilot incorporates WAAS/EGNOS corrections for DGPS accuracy
where these services are available.  

It is independant of the ship and while small enough to fit in your pocket, comes in
a rugged, waterproof case.
