In Operation
The minute you arrive on the bridge, open your backpack or rugged case and take out
your laptop. Turn it on thenhead out onto the bridge wing with the GPS hardware.
Take a second to choose a clear, unobstructed spot on the rail for the two antenna units.
If it's a round rail it will take a few more seconds to attach with the straps.
Hold the master antenna next to the end of the box unit to switch it on, then place the antenna
units on the rail, using the antenna cable or tether to give you the correct spacing.
Back on the bridge your software has automatically started. If you're using AISPilot, plug this in
and switch it on as well. It doesn't matter where the pilot plug is - our equipment is all wireless.
You're now ready for business... in less than two minutes.

Battery life
Our PPUs will last for 15 hours between charges. That is long enough for several shorter
passages and most longer ones.
