HarbourPilot in operation in the Middle East

The Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company (Irshad) has taken delivery of HarbourPilot Lightweight to assist with safe navigation in the port of Ruwais in western Abu Dhabi.

The port has a very narrow winding entrance channel, which often has limited visibility.  

The pilots are already using the equipment for taking the ships through the channel - reporting that "it went very well".
