ChannelPilot has been designed for discerning pilots who want independence from the ship's
pilot plug.
- Heading from MEMS gryo to accurately orient the ships shape on the electronic chart.
- Independent ROT to predict accurate future positions when turning.
- This is the PPU of choice for those involved with river, channel and other tight pilotage where full docking support is not required.
ChannelPilot is a really cost-effective entry-level PPU, giving close-to HarbourPilot capability.
Easy upgrade path to HarbourPilot if you want even greater accuracy - eg for docking,
