The software component of Navicom Dynamics’ products is QASTOR - a powerful electronic software system that provides the pilot with easy to use and easy to understand information. QASTOR uses type-approved ECDIS engines for digital chart presentation. Various formats can be read and displayed, such as IHO S-57 Version 3 and C-Map CM93 version 3. QASTOR supports the IHO S-63 security mechanism as used by Primar and IC-ENC. QASTOR is developed in line with Windows ® GUI (Graphic user interface) guidelines, making it user-friendly and easy to use. FunctionalityQASTOR is offered as a standard software license with several add-on modules to suit the individual needs of ports and pilots.
