HarbourPilot comes in two builds:

Both system builds have the same functionality. The differences are in portability, size and weight.

1) Lightweight System

This system, known as HPL, is small and light and can be carried in a backpack or soft carry case. Waterproof and robust, it is specially designed to withstand the harsh marine environment.  Like the ruggedised version, HPL has two antennas, with one built into the electronics box.  The only other component is the laptop.

 2) Ruggedised

Size:     410mm x 320mm x 170mm

Weight: 5.8kg (excluding display unit)

HarbourPilot is built into this ruggedised case, which includes a drop-down tray for storing the display unit.  The latest design has extra room for the laptop recharger and an AISPilot or marine radio.
